''The Possessed'' is a 2021 Australian horror film written and directed by Chris Sun and starring John Jarratt, Lincoln Lewis and Angie Kent. The film premiered at the 2021 London FrightFest Film Festival and was scheduled to be released in Australia in November 2021. John Jarratt
John Jarratt is an Australian television film actor, producer and director and TV presenter who rose to fame through his work in the Australian New Wave. He has appeared in a number of film roles including '' Picnic at Hanging Rock'' (1975), '' Summer City'' (1977), ''The Odd Angry Shot'' (1979), '' We of the Never Never'' (1982), '' Next of Kin'' (1982), and ''Dark Age'' (1987). He portrayed the antagonist Mick Taylor in the '' Wolf Creek'' franchise. He voiced the protagonist's father, Jack Hunter, in an audio drama adaptation of ''The Phoenix Files''. Lincoln Clay Lewis (born 24 October 1987) is an Australian actor. He is best known for his roles in the movie ''Tomorrow, When the War Began'' and in the television series ''Home and Away'' and ''Slide''. Early life Lewis was born in Brisbane, Queensland. London FrightFest Film Festival
FrightFest, also known as Arrow Video FrightFest is an annual film festival held in London and Glasgow. The festival holds three major events each year: a festival running five days over the UK late August Bank Holiday weekend, a Halloween event held in London in late October, and a festival in Glasgow held around February as part of the Glasgow Film Festival. The first event was held in London in 2000 and the first Glasgow festival was held in 2006. As its name indicates FrightFest primary focus is on the horror film genre, however, the event regularly features documentaries, science fiction and thriller films.
