The Pirate Loop
''The Pirate Loop'' is a BBC Books original novel written by Simon Guerrier and based on the long-running science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. It features the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones. It was published on 26 December 2007 alongside ''Peacemaker'' and ''Wishing Well''. It is also the second Tenth Doctor book to feature space pirates, after ''The Resurrection Casket''. Plot After escaping from over-eager serving robots in Milky-Pink City, Martha asks the Doctor about the Starship ''Brilliant'', which mysteriously disappeared. He agrees to investigate, but the TARDIS crashes on arrival and Martha is knocked out. She wakes in the ship's engine room, where she and the Doctor are led to the starship's experimental drive by the slave-like mechanics, who have small holes instead of mouths. Simon Guerrier
Simon Guerrier (born June 1976) is a British science fiction author and dramatist, closely associated with the fictional universe of ''Doctor Who'' and its spinoffs. Although he has written three ''Doctor Who'' novels, for the BBC Books range, his work has mostly been for Big Finish Productions' audio drama and book ranges. Guerrier has also written tie-in books for the Being Human and Primeval television series and co-authored a reference book for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series. Work Guerrier's earliest published fiction appeared in ''Zodiac'', the first of Big Finish's '' Short Trips'' range of ''Doctor Who'' short story anthologies. To date, his work has appeared in the majority of the ''Short Trips'' collections. The Resurrection Casket
''The Resurrection Casket'' is a BBC Books original novel written by Justin Richards and based on the long-running British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. It was published on 13 April 2006 alongside ''The Stone Rose'' and '' The Feast of the Drowned''. It features the Tenth Doctor and Rose. Synopsis On a shadowy planet called Starfall, where no modern technology works, the Doctor and Rose become involved in a quest for a lost treasure that belonged to Hamlek Glint — the Resurrection Casket, supposedly the key to eternal life. New Series Adventures
The ''New Series Adventures'' are a series of novels relating to the long-running BBC science fiction television series, ''Doctor Who''. The 'NSAs', as they are often referred to, are published by BBC Books, and are regularly published twice a year.
