The Perishers (band)
The Perishers were a Swedish indie rock band. The band formed in 1997 with six members. The lineup since 2001, has consisted of Ola Klüft (vocals, guitar), Martin Gustafson (keyboards, backing vocals), Pehr Åström (bass), and Thomas Hedlund (drums). In 2005, the band was personally handpicked by Sarah McLachlan to open her second leg of the Afterglow tour. Each night of the tour, Sarah McLachlan joined the band and sang background vocals on their song "Pills". The live track was released as a promotional CD single and as an online exclusive EP via Tower Records later that year. Additionally, several of their songs have been played in episodes of the American television programs ''The O.C.'', ''One Tree Hill'', ''Greek'' and ''Veronica Mars''. In ''Veronica Mars'', the ballad "Sway" featured prominently in a climactic episode of the series' second season. Phoenix is a French pop rock band from Versailles, formed in 1995. Their lineup, which has remained unchanged since their formation, comprises Thomas Mars (lead vocals), Deck d'Arcy (bass/keyboards/backing vocals), Christian Mazzalai (guitar/backing vocals) and Laurent Brancowitz (guitar/keyboards/backing vocals); additionally, Thomas Hedlund has been the band's session and live drummer since 2005. ''16 and Pregnant'' is an American reality television series that aired from June 11, 2009, to July 1, 2014, on the cable channel MTV. It followed the stories of pregnant teenage girls in high school dealing with the hardships of teenage pregnancy. Each episode featured a different teenage girl, with the episode typically beginning when she is  – 8 months into her pregnancy. The episode typically ends when the baby is a few months old. ''Maui Fever'' is an American reality television series on MTV. The series debuted on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at 10:30PM on MTV. The series reveals the daily lives of several young friends living in the Kaanapali area on the island of Maui. Following the style of MTV's '' Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County'', '' The Hills'', and ''8th & Ocean'', ''Maui Fever'' was shot as a "reality drama" (in the format of a scripted television show).
