Alec Lazo
Alejandro Lazo (born February 23) is a Cuban-American professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer based in Palm Beach, Florida. Lazo was the US International Rising Star Latin Champion in 1990 and went on through over twenty years of successful DanceSport competition. This cumulated in 1999 when he became the U.S. Nine-Dance Champion. He has appeared numerous times in television and theater in various capacities, and has also transitioned into the world of broadcast media as a spokesperson, guest host, and artist. He hosted several national PBS specials including "WXEL Presents", "Tango: The Spirit of Argentina", and "Fiesta at the Philharmonic". Alec is the Owner/Founder of: "Paramount Ballroom" a premiere ballroom dance studio in Palm Beach Florida, which has been a training site for Dancing With the Stars Cheryl Burke and Cristián de la Fuente during Season 6 of ''Dancing with the Stars''. The Paramount, or 680 Mission Street at Third, is a 40-story rental-apartment tower that is located South of Market just outside the Financial District on Mission Street in San Francisco. History Construction of the 420-foot (128-m) tower was completed in 2001. Upon completion, the building was the tallest concrete-framed structure located in Seismic Zone 4. It was also the tallest all-residential building in San Francisco from 2001 to 2008. Paramount Hotel
The Paramount Hotel (formerly the Century-Paramount Hotel) is a hotel in the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan in New York City, United States. Designed by architect Thomas W. Lamb, the hotel is at 235 West 46th Street, between Eighth Avenue and Broadway. The Paramount Hotel is owned by RFR Realty and contains 597 rooms. The hotel building, designed in a Renaissance style, is a New York City designated landmark. The hotel is 19 stories tall and is H-shaped in arrangement, with light courts to the west and east. The north and south faces of the hotel contain numerous setbacks. The facade is made of brick, stone, and terracotta; most of the decorative detail is concentrated on the south facade, along 46th Street.
