The Oval Court
''The Oval Court'' is an artwork created between 1984 and 1986 by British artist Helen Chadwick. The work was part of Chadwick's first major solo exhibition entitled Of Mutability, held at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Chadwick received a Turner Prize nomination in 1987 for the exhibition, making her one of the first women nominated for the prize. The work is currently in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London. ''The Oval Court'' refers to an entire room in the Of Mutability exhibition. On the walls of the room was a venetian glass mirror and photocopied images of the artist crying with tears made of blue foliage which flowed down into computer rendered drawings of the Baroque columns from the baldacchino of St Peter's Basilica, that reach down to the floor. Helen Chadwick
Helen Chadwick (18 May 1953 – 15 March 1996) was a British sculptor, photographer and installation artist. In 1987, she became one of the first women artists to be nominated for the Turner Prize. Chadwick was known for "challenging stereotypical perceptions of the body in elegant yet unconventional forms. Her work draws from a range of sources, from myths to science, grappling with a plethora of unconventional, visceral materials that included chocolate, lambs tongues and rotting vegetable matter. Her skilled use of traditional fabrication methods and sophisticated technologies transform these unusual materials into complex installations. Maureen Paley noted that "Helen was always talking about craftsmanship—a constant fount of information". Jean-Honoré Fragonard
Jean-Honoré Fragonard (; 5 April 1732 (birth/baptism certificate) – 22 August 1806) was a French painter and printmaker whose late Rococo manner was distinguished by remarkable facility, exuberance, and hedonism. One of the most prolific artists active in the last decades of the Ancien Régime, Fragonard produced more than 550 paintings (not counting drawings and etchings), of which only five are dated. Among his most popular works are genre paintings conveying an atmosphere of intimacy and veiled eroticism. Self-portraits
A self-portrait is a representation of an artist that is drawn, painted, photographed, or sculpted by that artist. Although self-portraits have been made since the earliest times, it is not until the Early Renaissance in the mid-15th century that artists can be frequently identified depicting themselves as either the main subject, or as important characters in their work. With better and cheaper mirrors, and the advent of the panel portrait, many painters, sculptors and printmakers tried some form of self-portraiture. ''Portrait of a Man in a Turban'' by Jan van Eyck of 1433 may well be the earliest known panel self-portrait. He painted a separate portrait of his wife, and he belonged to the social group that had begun to commission portraits, already more common among wealthy Netherlanders than south of the Alps. The genre is venerable, but not until the Renaissance, with increased wealth and interest in the individual as a subject, did it become truly popular.

Xerox Art
Xerox art (sometimes, more generically, called copy art, electrostatic art, scanography or xerography) is an art form that began in the 1960s. Prints are created by putting objects on the glass, or platen, of a copying machine and by pressing "start" to produce an image. If the object is not flat, or the cover does not totally cover the object, or the object is moved, the resulting image is distorted in some way. The curvature of the object, the amount of light that reaches the image surface, and the distance of the cover from the glass, all affect the final image. Often, with proper manipulation, rather ghostly images can be made. Ego Geometria Sum
''Ego Geometria Sum'' is an artwork created by British artist, Helen Chadwick between 1982 and 1983. The work consisted of ten geometric plywood structures, in the shape of objects associated with Chadwick's past. Black and white naked photographs of the artist as well as locations associated with the objects were printed on the surface of the objects. The objects represent the mass of the artist's body at a progression of ages, from premature birth to maturity at age 30. These objects include a 'Incubator - birth', 'Font - 3 months', 'Pram - 10 months', 'Boat - 2 years', 'Wigwam - 5 years', 'Bed - 6 3/4 years', 'Piano - 9 years', 'Horse - 11 years', 'High School - 13 years' and 'Statue - 15–30 years'. ''The Blonde Odalisque'' or ''Resting Girl'' (french: Jeune fille allongée, ''Jeune fille couchée'' or ''L'Odalisque blonde'') is the title of two oil-on-canvas paintings by the French artist François Boucher. François Boucher ( , ; ; 29 September 1703 – 30 May 1770) was a French painter, draughtsman and etcher, who worked in the Rococo style. Boucher is known for his idyllic and voluptuous paintings on classical themes, decorative allegories, and pastoral scenes. He was perhaps the most celebrated painter and decorative artist of the 18th century.
