''The Original'' is the only studio album from American rapper Sarai. Released in 2003 via Sweat/Epic Records. The first single released to radio was "Pack Ya Bags" in 2002. Sarai (rapper)
Sarai Marie Howard (born January 23, 1981) is an American rapper. Biography 2001–2004: Music Shortly after relocating to Atlanta, Sarai signed a record deal with Epic Records. She thus became the first white female rapper to be represented by a major U.S. label. In 2001, she was prominently featured on the single "Same Ol' Same Ol' (remix)" by label-mate P.Y.T., and appeared in the group’s music video, as well as a second remix on their album. "It's Official," a track from her debut ''The Original'', also appeared as a hidden snippet track on their debut album. In 2002, Sarai's "Pack Ya Bags" was released to radio and as a single. It debuted on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts at #90. Soon after, her record label briefly dubbed her ''Feminem'' in an attempt to draw comparisons between her and fellow artist Eminem. Scott Spencer Storch (born December 16, 1973) is an American record producer and songwriter. He started off as a keyboardist for the group the Roots. Early life Storch was born on Long Island, New York. He was raised in South Florida and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His mother, Joyce Yolanda Storch, was a singer signed to Philadelphia's Cameo-Parkway Records under the stage name Joyce Carol, and is of Lithuanian Jewish heritage. Jacquelyn Suzette Wright-Johnson (born May 17, 1977), better known by her stage name, Jaguar Wright, is an American R&B and neo soul singer, songwriter and narrator. She is part of the Okayplayer collective. Wright has performed and collaborated alongside rap acts such as The Roots, Jay-Z, and Blackalicious. She was born and raised in New Jersey before moving to Philadelphia at around 12 years old. Portishead () is an English band formed in 1991 in Bristol. The band is named after Portishead, Somerset, eight miles west of Bristol, along the coast. The band comprises vocalist Beth Gibbons, producer Geoff Barrow, and musician Adrian Utley; Dave McDonald, an engineer on their first records, is sometimes cited as the fourth member.
