"The One" is the debut single by Polish singer Aneta Sablik. She premiered the single at the final of the 11th season of German casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar. Aneta Sablik was announced in the night of May 3, 2015 as the show's winner, making Meltem Ackigöz the runner-up. The song was released on May 3, 2014 to digital outlets from Oceania and Europe, debuting at the number-one in the iTunes download charts of all German-speaking countries. Aneta Sablik (born 12 January 1989) is a Polish pop singer. She gained popularity in Europe after winning the eleventh season of ''Deutschland sucht den Superstar'' (''DSDS''; "Germany Seeks the Superstar") which was broadcast on RTL. Sablik was the first competitor to receive the highest number of points at every live show. She was announced the winner of season 11 on 3 May 2014, winning €500,000, a car, and a record label contract. The eleventh season of ''Deutschland sucht den Superstar'' was broadcast on German channel RTL from 8 January to 3 May 2014. The winner received a recording contract with Universal Music Group and €500,000. Participants had to be between 16 and 30 years old and could audition in 30 cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
