The Once A Week Show
''The Once a Week Show with Dustin and Sinéad from Sinéad's House Where Dustin Likes to Hang'' is a television chat/comedy show, broadcast on RTÉ Two in 2007 and 2008. A successor to the more frequently aired ''Dustin's Daily News'', it was presented by Dustin the Turkey of ''The Den'', with his assistant Sinéad Ni Churnain as a co-presenter. More or less exactly the same as the previous show, only with a studio instead of a newsroom, plus the reduced daily to weekly frequency of the show. During the show's run the presenter was selected to represent Ireland at Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Brian Ormond (born 8 August 1979) is an Irish television presenter, businessman and reality TV star. Early career ''Popstars'' In 2001 Ormond auditioned for the Irish version of ''Popstars (Irish TV series), Popstars,'' the television programme which created the pop band, Six (group), Six and first introduced the world to Nadine Coyle. Ormond reached the final twelve contestants but was not selected as one of the eventual six members of the group. Joe Duffy
Joseph Duffy (born 27 January 1956) is an Irish broadcaster employed by Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). One of RTÉ's highest-earning stars, he is the current presenter of ''Liveline'', an interview and phone-in chat show broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 on Mondays to Fridays between 13:45 and 15:00. Duffy has a history as a student activist. As President of the Union of Students in Ireland (U.S.I.) he was once jailed for an occupation in which he had participated. He describes himself as a Christian socialist who advocates justice "very much based on Christian teaching and principles". The Frank And Walters
The Frank and Walters are an alternative pop band from Cork city in Ireland. The band was founded in 1989 and named in honour of two eccentric Cork characters. Members The original band line-up included Paul Linehan (vocalist and bassist), his brother Niall Linehan (guitarist), and Ashley Keating (drums). Niall Linehan was replaced as guitarist in 2004 by Kevin Pedreschi, who was in turn replaced by Rory Murphy in 2010. Cian Corbett joined on keyboard duties in 2005. The Kinetiks
The Kinetiks were a Meteor Award-nominated Irish rock, pop and indie musical ensemble from Dublin. They were vocalist and guitarist Gaz Harding, guitarist Sean Brennan, bassist Jim McGuire, and drummer Paul Donohoe. Brian Patrick Robert Dowling (born 13 June 1978) is an Irish television presenter. He rose to fame after winning the second series of reality series '' Big Brother'', and went on to win ''Ultimate Big Brother'' in 2010.
