''The Old Man'' ( et, Vanamehe film) is a 2019 Estonian animated film directed by Mikk Mägi and Oskar Lehemaa. As of 2019 this film is the most successful Estonian full-length stop-motion animated film. The film was watched by over 86,000 people. Plot The grandchildren are coming to visit the Old Man in the country for the summer. It's far from an idyllic summer vacation at grandpa's place, because the Old Man is working hard on the land to feed both the children and his dairy cow. The rascals do not understand the customs of the countryside and cause the prized cow to run away. Now the Old Man and the kids have 24 hours to find the cow before the unmilked udder explodes and causes a dairy disaster. The old man and the children begin a merciless race against time, as the udder must be neutralized before the mysterious Old Milkman sends the cow to the heavenly meadow. Jan Uuspõld
Jan Uuspõld (born 14 December 1973) is an Estonian stage, television, radio and film actor and musician. Early life and music career Jan Uuspõld was born in Tallinn, the eldest of three sons of Ingar and Heidi Uuspõld. His mother is an accountant and his father was a long-distance truck driver. He was raised mostly in Hiiu, Nõmme and attended schools in Keila and Tallinn. In middle school was enrolled in music class and sang in a school choir. He graduated from Tallinn's 1st Industrial High School in 1991 where he trained as an offset printer. As a teenager, he wished to become a musician. Influenced in part by the Estonian punk rock band J.M.K.E., he formed a punk band called Trakulla at age fifteen with several classmates and younger brother Andrus after his mother gave him money to buy a guitar. Jaagup Kreem
Terminaator () is an Estonian rock group formed in 1987 by Arno Veimer and Jaagup Kreem in Tallinn 10. High School (today known as Nõmme Gymnasium). Kreem was in the 7th grade then. The first public performance was in Tallinn 47. High School in the schoolbands' festival. The first time in the studio was in 1989. First songs "Charleen" and " Meeletu maailm" were recorded in 1991. They found wider fame in 1992, when they won the festival of young bands Rock In. They have also performed in Latvia, Lithuania and Finland, although they have not had much success outside of Estonia.
