The Norwood School
The Norwood School is a co-educational community school at the south end of the London Borough of Lambeth, for girls and boys aged 11–18. The school is a specialist Performing and Visual Arts College. From September 2007, the school admitted boys for the first time as it changed its status from a single sex girls' school to a co-educational community school. So Solid Crew
So Solid Crew are a British UK garage and hip hop collective originating from the area on and surrounding the Winstanley and York Road Estates in Battersea, London which achieved wide success in the early 2000s. The group consisted of many members, the most notable being Asher D (Ashley Walters), Lisa Maffia, Harvey and Romeo. So Solid have been credited for being pioneers in the UK music scene. By turning UK garage from a dancey-genre to one that was darker and more MC-oriented, and gaining mainstream success, they inspired London youth to experiment with their own darker sounds, leading to what would become known as grime music. Norwood Park is a park located in West Norwood. The park is bordered by Elder Road, Central Hill and Salter's Hill in South East London. The park is jointly managed by Lambeth Council and the community group Friends of Norwood Park. The park is not fenced and is fully accessible to the public at all times. Location Norwood park is situated on one of the highest points in Lambeth and commands views across Dulwich to the City and Central London away. One of the highest points in London is less than a mile away at Westow Hill, at above sea-level.
