Falk Harnack
Falk Harnack (2 March 1913 – 3 September 1991) was a German director and screenwriter. During Germany's Nazi era, he was also active with the German Resistance and toward the end of World War II, the partisans in Greece. Harnack was from a family of scholars, artists and scientists, several of whom were active in the anti-Nazi Resistance and paid with their lives. Early years Falk Erich Walter Harnack was the younger son of painter Clara Harnack (née Reichau) and literary historian Otto Harnack; a nephew of theologian Adolf von Harnack and Erich Harnack, professor of pharmacology and chemistry; the grandson of theologian Theodosius Harnack and the younger brother of jurist and German Resistance fighter Arvid Harnack. Peter Capell
Peter Capell (3 September 1912 – 3 March 1986) was a German actor who was active on screen from 1945 until 1985. Apart from a lengthy film career, he appeared in many television series and mini-series. He appeared in many old time radio programs including the series '' Dimension X''. His first role was in '' Winterset'', shortly after the end of the Second World War. His final role came a year before his death, when he appeared in ''Mamas Geburtstag''. Both of these were television productions. He also appeared in many films, including ''Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory'' (1971). Capell was also in Stanley Kubrick's 1957 war film ''Paths of Glory'' (he also narrated the film's opening sequence), co-starring Kirk Douglas. Death Capell died in Munich, West Germany on March 3, 1986, aged 73. No cause of death was announced. Käthe Braun
Käthe Braun (11 November 1913 – 9 September 1994) was a German stage and film actress. She was married to director Falk Harnack and acted in several of his films. Career Katharina Braun was born in Wasserburg am Inn. After studying acting privately with Magda Lena in Munich, she had her first theater engagement at the Bavarian state theater, Cuvilliés-Theater. In 1938, she began working at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus and in 1941, at the city theater in Strasbourg, staying there until Goebbels closed all the theaters in August 1944. After World War II, she returned to Munich and, from 1947 to 1951, worked periodically at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. Siegfried Schürenberg (12 January 1900 – 31 August 1993) was a German film actor. He appeared in more than 80 films between 1933 and 1974. He was born in Detmold, Germany and died in Berlin, Germany in 1993, at age 93. Although he never played leading roles, he was a well-known supporting actor who played the role of Sir John in numerous Edgar Wallace films during the 1960s. Susanne Cramer (3 December 1936 – 7 January 1969) was a German film and television actress. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and died in Hollywood, California, of pneumonia, at age 32. Biography At the age of 20, Cramer married the 37-year-old actor Hermann Nehlsen, who pushed her film ambitions. The marriage failed and the actress entered into a relationship with Claus Biederstaedt, whom she had met in 1956 while filming the literary adaptation Kleines Zelt und große Liebe. This relationship also failed; in February 1958, the Frankfurter Abendpost reported that the then 21-year-old actress had attempted suicide, which she denied. Cramer had a six-year career in American television, starting with a 1963 episode of ''The Dakotas'', and ending with a 1969 episode of ''The Guns of Will Sonnett''.
