The N.W.A Legacy, Vol. 2 is a compilation of tracks from original members of the iconic gangsta rap group N.W.A; Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, and DJ Yella, as well as artists that were spawned by members of the group, such as Tha Dogg Pound, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, and Tha Eastsidaz. Some other tracks are collaborations or songs by associates of the foursome, such as The D.O.C. and D.J. Quik. It is the second album in the series. Songs were originally from various labels, including Ruthless Records, Def Jam, Tommy Boy and Death Row Records. Mark Copeland executive produced the album. West Coast hip hop is a regional genre of hip hop music that encompasses any artists or music that originated in the West Coast region of the United States. Death Row Records
Death Row Records is an American record label that was founded in 1991 by The D.O.C., Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and Dick Griffey. The label became a sensation by releasing multi-platinum hip-hop albums by West Coast-based artists such as Dr. Dre (''The Chronic''), Snoop Dogg (''Doggystyle'', ''Tha Doggfather''), Tha Dogg Pound (''Dogg Food''), and 2Pac (''All Eyez on Me'', The Don Killuminati: 7 Day Theory) during the 1990s. Westside Connection was an American hip-hop supergroup formed by Mack 10, WC and Ice Cube. Anthony Banks (born March 4, 1966) is an American record producer and rapper from Oakland, California. Biography As a child, he took part in a band at school and then learned to play a variety of instruments along the way. At school he only learned classical music, but at home he taught himself to play funk music like Parliament, Funkadelic and The Gap Band on his digital keyboard. Interested in making music, he would create beats and record his own versions for fun.
