The Mystic Knights Of Tir Na Nog
''Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog'' is a fantasy-adventure television series set in a fantasy version of ancient Ireland, created by Saban Entertainment. It was loosely based on actual Irish mythology. The name is derived from Tír na nÓg, one of the Otherworlds of Irish mythology. It was Saban's first fantasy series to involve knights, dragons, and wizards. It aired on the Fox Kids Network from September 12, 1998 and ending on May 7, 1999. A second season entitled ''Mystic Knights: Battle Thunder'' was planned, but was later cancelled, and its budget was put towards ''Power Rangers Lost Galaxy'' and the English dub version of '' Digimon: Digital Monsters''. The Digital Monster is a digital pet created by WiZ and Bandai that spawned the ''Digimon'' franchise. It was released by Bandai on June 26, 1997 in Japan and on December 5, 1997 in North America. This pet was a masculine counterpart to the Tamagotchi, which was deemed more appropriate for girls. It was similar to earlier virtual pets with the distinctions of being a fighting pet that could connect with others like it. The original Digital Monster model that was released in 1997 sold units worldwide, including in Japan and overseas, up until March 2004. By 2005, more than Digital Monster units had been sold worldwide. ''Power Rangers Lost Galaxy'' is a tokusatsu television series and the seventh season of the ''Power Rangers'' franchise, based on the 22nd Super Sentai series ''Seijuu Sentai Gingaman''. The series was the first to follow the Sentai tradition of a new cast with each new series. Kendrix Morgan (Valerie Vernon), the first Pink Galaxy Ranger for this series, was killed off two-thirds through the season, marking the first time that a Ranger was killed off in the series.
