Dudi Appleton
David Jeremy Nicholas Appleton (born 1969) is a journalist and film director. Appleton attended Rockport School in Holywood, County Down, and then Campbell College in Belfast before attending Jesus College, Oxford, where he read English. Dudi, as he has been known since a child, attended Central Acting School in London. Though he acted in plays and film, he was more attracted to writing, where he became a travel journalist for '' The Standard'', ''The Guardian'' and ''The Daily Telegraph'' broadsheets. Working with his Oxford companion JimKeeble, who had moved into writing books, they began writing film scripts. Toyah Ann Willcox (born 18 May 1958) is an English musician, actress, and TV presenter. ''Empire'' is a British film magazine published monthly by Bauer Verlagsgruppe, Bauer Consumer Media. The first issue was published in May 1989. History David Hepworth of Emap, the publisher of British music magazines ''Q magazine, Q'' and ''Smash Hits'', among other titles, came up with the idea to publish a magazine similar to ''Q'', but for films. They recruited ''Smash Hits'' editor Barry McIlheney to edit the new magazine, with Hepworth as Editorial Director. Hepworth produced a one-page document of what he wanted to achieve.
