The Morning Show (Canadian TV Series)
''The Morning Show'' is a Canadian breakfast television show airing on Global. The program was first shown only on Global Toronto as a three-hour local morning show, but now serves exclusively as a national entertainment and lifestyle program. The program is hosted by Jeff McArthur and Carolyn Mackenzie. It debuted on October 11, 2011, from a ground level storefront studio at the Corus Entertainment Building (formerly Shaw Media Building) on 121 Bloor Street East in Downtown Toronto. On September 16, 2016, the show moved out of their Bloor Street Studio to the ET Canada studios. This was a temporary studio while a new one was being constructed at Corus Quay. The show moved to its new studios at Corus Quay on November 21, 2016. The newscast division was founded on September 28, 1975 as ''CityPulse'' as a standalone local newscast on the network's Toronto and Vancouver stations owned by CHUM Limited. CP24 is a Canadian English-language specialty news channel owned by Bell Media, a subsidiary of BCE Inc. and operated alongside the Bell-owned CTV Television Network's owned-and-operated television stations CFTO-DT (CTV Toronto) and CKVR-DT (CTV 2 Barrie). The channel broadcasts from 299 Queen Street West in Downtown Toronto. It was first originally launched on March 30, 1998, under the name CablePulse24 by its owners CHUM Limited and Sun Media. The channel was named as an extension of CITY-TV (Citytv Toronto)'s newscasts, which were then known as ''CityPulse''. Jennifer Elizabeth Valentyne (née Peck, born May 31, 1967) is a Canadian television personality. Liza Fromer
Liza Fromer (born March 18, 1970) is a former cohost of '' The Morning Show'' on the Global Television Network and ''Breakfast Television'' at Citytv in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Radio and Television and is a Canadian broadcast journalist. Previously, she worked as a video game columnist for ''TV Guide Canada''.
