Paul McCartney
Sir James Paul McCartney (born 18 June 1942) is an English singer, songwriter and musician who gained worldwide fame with the Beatles, for whom he played bass guitar and shared primary songwriting and lead vocal duties with John Lennon. One of the most successful composers and performers of all time, McCartney is known for his melodic approach to bass-playing, versatile and wide tenor vocal range, and musical eclecticism, exploring styles ranging from pre–rock and roll pop to classical and electronica. His songwriting partnership with Lennon remains the most successful in history. Born in Liverpool, McCartney taught himself piano, guitar and songwriting as a teenager, having been influenced by his father, a jazz player, and rock and roll performers such as Little Richard and Buddy Holly. He began his career when he joined Lennon's skiffle group, the Quarrymen, in 1957, which evolved into the Beatles in 1960. Sometimes called "the cute Beatle", McCartney later invo ...

These concerts were part of the 1975–76 Wings Over the World tour, which also produced the triple live album ''Wings over America'' (1976) and the ''Wings Over the World'' television documentary (1979). This is also the first film released by Miramax. Production The music for what was to become ''Rockshow'' and part of ''Wings Over the World'' was produced by Chris Thomas and engineered by Phil McDonald during 1979. Goodnight Tonight
"Goodnight Tonight" is a song by the British–American rock band Wings. Written and produced by Paul McCartney, it was released as a non-album single on 23 March 1979 by Parlophone in the UK and Columbia Records in the US. It was recorded during the sessions for the band's 1979 album ''Back to the Egg'' and is notable for its disco-inflected sound and spirited flamenco guitar break. Recording "Goodnight Tonight" began as an instrumental backing track McCartney had recorded in 1978. Needing a single for Wings to accompany the ''Back to the Egg'' album, McCartney took out the track and brought it into the studio, where the full Wings line-up completed it. Denny Laine and Laurence Juber added electric guitars, mirroring Paul's parts and Steve Holley added percussion, while the whole band sang in the chorus. Since the track was over seven minutes long, an edited version was used as the single, with the full version available as a 12-inch single. A music video was made for the song ...

Waterfalls (Paul McCartney Song)
"Waterfalls" is a Paul McCartney ballad from his first solo album after Wings, ''McCartney II''. The song has a minimalist sound, with McCartney only playing a Fender Rhodes electric piano and a synthesizer and singing, and a short solo performed on acoustic guitar. "Waterfalls" was released as a single with "Check My Machine" as its B-Side and reached chart position in the UK and No. 4 in Ireland. In the US, however, it was his first single ever to miss the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, only reaching despite being the follow-up to the hit " Coming Up". In 2013, ''Rolling Stone'' rated it the all-time Paul McCartney post-Beatles song, describing how it contrasted with Wings' prior single. '' Billboard'' described "Waterfalls" as having "a subtle oriental flavour" and "appropriately sparse" instrumentation, and described McCartney's vocal performance as "inimitable" and "creamy." ''Cash Box'' called it a "whimsical ballad," stating that it has an "almost dirge-like melody." ...
