''The M-Pire Shrikez Back'' is the second studio album by American hip hop trio Originoo Gunn Clappaz. It was released on August 31, 1999 through Duck Down/Priority Records. Production was handled by Emperor Searcy, Robert "Rob" McDowell, Justin "JT" Trugman, Rebell, Baby Paul, DJ Greyboy, Don J, Drew "Dru-Ha" Friedman, Havoc, Knobody, Shaleek and Vincent Davis. It features guest appearances from Boot Camp Clik Boot Camp Clik is an American hip hop supergroup from Brooklyn, New York City, which is composed of Buckshot (of Black Moon), Smif-N-Wessun ( Tek and Steele), Heltah Skeltah (Rock and Sean Price) and O.G.C. (Starang Wondah, Top Dog, and Louievi ..., Hardcore, Thurderfoot, Havoc and MFC. The album peaked at number 170 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The single "Bounce to the Ounce" received moderate airplay, but not enough to attract strong sales. Representativz are an American hip hop duo formed in 1994 by rappers Supreme The Eloheem and Lidu Rock. The group gained fame through their affiliation with the Boot Camp Clik, with Lidu Rock being the little brother of Heltah Skeltah's Rock, while Supreme being the blood cousin of both Smif-N-Wessun's Steele & O.G.C.'s Top Dog. The group debuted in 1996 on Heltah Skeltah's acclaimed ''Nocturnal'' album, on the track "The Square riple R. Eric Gale
Eric Gale (September 20, 1938 – May 25, 1994) was an American jazz and R&B guitarist. ''Early life and career'' Born in Bedford–Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, Gale grew up in a diverse household. His paternal grandfather was from Yorkshire, England. He had extended family in Barbados and Venezuela. Gale often visited the U.K. and Venezuela as an adolescent, which influenced his style into adulthood. He was fluent in Spanish. Gale started playing the guitar at age 12. At that time, he skipped junior high school. Soon after, in high school, he visited John Coltrane's home after school and sat in on jam sessions, which inspired Gale's readily recognizable style. Gale received his Master of Science in chemistry at Niagara University. He was also on the football team. The Fab 5
The Fab 5 was a Hip Hop group that consisted of Heltah Skeltah (Rock and Ruck) and O.G.C. (Starang Wondah, Louieville Sluggah and Top Dog). The group joined the Boot Camp Clik and signed a record deal with Duck Down Records in 1995. They released their debut single ''"Blah" b/w "Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka"'' later that year, with the B-Side ''"Leflah"'' becoming a surprise ''Billboard'' Hot 100 hit in 1995. The two groups split up to release separate debut albums in 1996, with Heltah Skeltah dropping ''Nocturnal'' in June (including ''"Leflah"''), and O.G.C. dropping ''Da Storm'' in October. ''Da Storm'' did not feature a Fab 5 track, and neither did Heltah Skeltah's 1998 second album ''Magnum Force''. David Axelrod (musician)
David Axelrod (April 17, 1931 – February 5, 2017) was an American composer, arranger, and producer. After starting out as a staff producer for record companies specializing in jazz, Axelrod became known by the mid-1960s in soul and jazz circles for his recording skills. In 1968, Axelrod embarked on a solo career and released several albums during the 1970s that showcased his characteristic sound, which combined heavily microphoned drums and baroque orchestration, and avant garde themes ranging from the environment to heightened mental awareness. With his early solo projects, Axelrod was one of the first recording artists to fuse elements of jazz, rock, and R&B. Donald Lamont, professionally known by his stage name Donald D, is an American rapper and record producer from the Bronx, New York. He is a member of the Universal Zulu Nation, a former member of the B-Boys, and is best known as a member of Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate. He was one half of the duo Heltah Skeltah, performing under the name Ruck, along with partner Rock. Heltah Skeltah was an American hip hop duo which consisted of rappers Jahmal "Rock" Bush and Sean "Ruck" Price. The two were also members of New York supergroup Boot Camp Clik, along with Buckshot, Smif-N-Wessun and O.G.C.
