Ladislao Vajda
Ladislao Vajda (born Weisz László; 18 August 1906, Budapest – 25 March 1965, Barcelona) was a Hungarian-Spanish film director who made films in Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Italy and West Germany. Biography He was born in Budapest, his father being an actor and screenwriter. Vajda started his career as film editor (even though he also worked as artistic designer and writer) for different directors, such as Billy Wilder and Henry Koster. Eventually, he undertook his first directorial effort in his native country, Hungary. Before World War II he became established in Italy, where he directed two movies: ''La zia smemorata'' (1940) and ' (1941). Finally, he moved to Spain, where he continued directing films. The first film from his Spanish period was ''Se vende un palacio'' ('' A Palace for Sale''), released in 1943. Wolfgang Otto Völz (16 August 1930 – 2 May 2018) was a German actor. He is known for his roles in theatre plays, TV shows, feature films (especially German films based on Edgar Wallace works) and taped radio shows. He was also a very prolific voice actor. Völz studied acting and consequently worked as a stage actor. After more than ten years of acting including a great deal of supporting roles in feature films and TV shows he became a popular cast member ("Lt. Mario de Monti") of ''Space Patrol – The Fantastic Adventures of the Spaceship Orion''. He continued being successful on the TV screen by playing Ioan (German: Johann), the driver and bodyguard of ''Graf Yoster'' (and afterwards many other characters). Werner Peters (7 July 1918 – 30 March 1971) was a German film actor. He appeared in 102 films between 1947 and 1971. Biography Peters was born in Werlitzsch, Kreis Delitzsch, Prussian Saxony, and died of a heart attack on a promotion tour for his latest film in Wiesbaden, Germany. His film career started with the lead in Wolfgang Staudte's ''Der Untertan'', produced in the young German Democratic Republic. Peters then worked in West Germany, appearing mostly in supporting roles in popular movies. He also established himself in the European and international film industry by frequently playing sinister German or Nazi characters. Michael Hinz (28 December 1939 – 6 November 2008) was a German actor. Life and career Hinz came from an acting family, his parents were Werner Hinz and Ehmi Bessel, both actors, as well as his brother Knut and half-sister Dinah. After growing up in Berlin and Hamburg, Hinz had his first theatrical role in 1958 in Terence Rattigan's '' The Sleeping Prince'' at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg.
