''The Life of Pi'erre 4'' is the debut studio album by American record producer and rapper Pi'erre Bourne. It was released on June 21, 2019, by SossHouse Records and Interscope Records. The album debuted at number 107 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart in the United States. Almost exactly a year after the album's release, a deluxe edition was released on June 19, 2020. Jordan Timothy Jenks (born September 19, 1993), known professionally as Pi'erre Bourne (), is an American rapper, record producer, and audio engineer. He is best known for producing the singles "Magnolia" by Playboi Carti and "Gummo" by 6ix9ine, entering the Top 30 of the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Cloud Rap
Cloud rap is a subgenre of Southern rap and trap music that has several sonic characteristics of lo-fi in its hazy, dreamlike and relaxed sound. Many music experts credit rapper Lil B and producer Clams Casino as the early pioneers of this style. The term "cloud rap" is related to its internet birth and its ethereal style. Origins Cloud rap initially came out of Atlanta, Houston, and Memphis during the late 2000s. The term "cloud rap" is popularly used in reference to lo-fi, hazy rap. ''Sli'merre'' is a collaborative mixtape by American rapper Young Nudy and American record producer Pi'erre Bourne. It was released on May 8, 2019, by RCA Records. It features guest appearances from 21 Savage, DaBaby, Lil Uzi Vert, and Megan Thee Stallion, while the production was handled entirely by Pi'erre. The album peaked at number 63 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart in the United States. The mixtape was supported by two singles: "Mister" and "Extendo". Background " Pissy Pamper" is an unreleased song that leaked on April 18, 2019, which was meant for ''Sli'merre'', but was scrapped due to sample clearance issues.
