''The Levenger Tapes'' is a 2011 United States, American horror film, horror-thriller film written and directed by Mark Edwin Robinson. The film premiered at the Temecula Valley International Film Festival in September 2011 and will be distributed by New Films International. Plot After three college students go missing, detectives discover a disturbing tape that they hope will provide clues to their whereabouts. The footage of the students takes a chilling turn when they discover the bloodied dress of a young girl in the wilderness. The detectives link the missing students case and the young girl together and hope to find them all alive. Mark Edwin Robinson
Mark Edwin Robinson (born November 6, 1980) is an American film director and screenwriter. Career He made his directorial debut at the age of 22 with the horror film, ''Breaking Dawn (2004 film), Breaking Dawn'' (Lionsgate 2004) which was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival Marché du Film and at The Hollywood Film Festival. Robinson's follow up project is the mystery-horror, ''The Levenger Tapes'' which was released by Lionsgate Films in 2011. In January 2012 he began filming his latest project, the supernatural romance horror, ''Into the Dark (film), Into the Dark'', with Mischa Barton and Ryan Eggold in the lead roles. The Temecula Valley International Film Festival is a film festival held in Temecula Valley, California. Background Launched in September 1995 and held, uninterrupted every September until 2011 (later to relaunch in 2014), the festival proclaims itself a celebration film and music. It drew 600 attendees to its 1995 launch. By 2008, it drew more than 20,000 people.
