The Legend Of Jimi Lazer
''Lazer Us: The Legend of Jimi Lazer'' is an independent film by CubeCity Entertainment and Curium Films. Originally titled ''The Legend of Jimi Lazer'', it won "Best Film - Adventure Category" at the Manhattan Film Festival and screened at Toronto's Reel Indie Film Festival. Its new name was unveiled for the DVD release in 2014. The film stars Robbie Beniuk, Patrick J. Mitchell, Amy Landon, Elijah Black, Robert Tanos, Tanya Lynne, Christopher Elliott, and Jim Yorfido. Written and produced by Roberto Munoz, the story is inspired by his days in the music industry. In the 1980s, Munoz managed the alternative Gospel band, ''Level Heads'', featuring Juno award-winning musician, Jim Chevalier. Roberto Muñoz (producer)
Roberto Munoz (August 22, 1951) is a Producer, Director, and Screenwriter. He founded and is president of the not-for-profit New York based CubeCity Entertainment, Inc. He is one of the writing team members that writes under the name R.M.M. Munoz. Early life Munoz was born in Unterensingen, Germany on August 22, 1951. His father was a member of the 1936 Spanish Olympic Boxing team. His mother's family was of German-Russian origin. He immigrated with his parents to St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada when he was eight. Concert Promoter Munoz began in the entertainment industry in the 1980s when he managed the alternative Gospel band, ''Level Heads'', featuring Juno award-winning musician, Jim Chevalier. As a promoter, he staged Phil Keaggy and Second Chapter of Acts concerts. Adam Again
Adam Again is an American Rock music, rock band that was active from 1982 until the 2000 death of founder, leader and vocalist Gene Eugene, with Riki Michele on vocals, Paul Valadez on bass, Jon Knox on drums, Greg Lawless on guitar. Dan Michaels often played saxophone. Thom Jurek of AllMusic has described them as "inventive and artfully canny." The band never achieved commercial viability and quit touring and recording together after March 20, 2000, when Eugene died in his recording studio, the "fabulous" The Green Room (recording studio), Green Room.
