The Last Eve
''The Last Eve'' is a 2005 action film directed by Young Man Kang, a Korean-born filmmaker who made his U.S. directing debut '' Cupid's Mistake'' (2001). Plot This film is journeying backwards through history while telling, re-telling and re-imagining the story of Adam and Eve. This film consists of three contrasting tales Eve's Secret, Cain and Abel and Snake's Temptation, which reveal the dark tragedies at the heart of all romance, the temptations of the flesh and the spirit, the loss of innocence. Production and release The Last Eve was shot in Death Valley, Los Angeles Korea town and South Korea. The Los Angeles filming was executive produced by Kimmarie Johnson. It took 2 years to complete the film. The film won the Best Action Feature film Award at the 2005 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. Young Man Kang (born April 6, 1966 in South Chungcheong, South Korea) is a Korean filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California, United States. Kang directed and produced ''The Last Eve'' (2005), ''Soap Girl'' (2002), '' Cupid's Mistake'' (2001) and ''Kimchi Warrior'' (2009). He is the director and founder of Seoul Webfest. Early life Young Man Kang studied fine arts at Hong-ik University in Seoul, Korea. In 1994, Kang moved to New York City where he studied film at the New School. In 1996, Kang moved to Los Angeles and began his film career working as a director for a television commercial production company. Career Between 2000 and 2010, Kang directed five feature films. His feature debut, Cupid's Mistake, was made with a budget of $980 USD and held screenings in Los Angeles and New York City.
