''The Last Dragon: Original Soundtrack Album'' is a soundtrack album for the 1985 movie ''The Last Dragon'' starring Taimak, Julius Carry, Vanity and Christopher Murney. The music soundtrack album was supervised by executive producer Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown Records. The soundtrack features the DeBarge’s hit song, "Rhythm of the Night", written by Diane Warren. The song reached top five on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and #1 on the Billboard R&B Singles. Soul Music
Soul music is a popular music genre that originated in the African American community throughout the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Denise Katrina Matthews (January 4, 1959 – February 15, 2016), known professionally as Vanity, was a Canadian singer, model, and actress. Known for her image as a sex symbol in the 1980s, she became an evangelist and renounced her career as Vanity in the 1990s. Vanity was the lead singer of the female trio Vanity 6, which was created by the musician Prince. The Canadian Singles Chart was a chart compiled by the American-based music sales tracking company, Nielsen SoundScan, which began publication in November 1996. Kennedy William Gordy (born March 15, 1964), better known by his stage name Rockwell, is an American singer. He is most well known for his hit 1984 single "Somebody's Watching Me" which features Michael Jackson on the chorus vocals. He is the son of Motown founder Berry Gordy. Misha Segal
Misha Segal is an Israeli people, Israeli music producer and film composer. He studied music, film, and philosophy at Tel Aviv University and apprenticed under Dieter Schöhnbach in Germany. William McKinley Hutchison (December 6, 1944 – September 19, 2005), better known as Willie Hutch, was an American singer, songwriter as well as a record producer and recording artist for the Motown record label during the 1970s and 1980s.
