''The Last Czars'' is a six-part English-language docudrama that premiered on Netflix on July 3, 2019. Docudrama
Docudrama (or documentary drama) is a genre of television and film, which features dramatized re-enactments of actual events. It is described as a hybrid of documentary and drama and "a fact-based representation of real event". Docudramas typically strive to adhere to known historical facts, while allowing some degree of dramatic license in peripheral details, such as when there are gaps in the historical record. Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna of Russia (Maria Nikolaevna Romanova; Russian language, Russian: Великая Княжна Мария Николаевна, 17 July 1918) was the third daughter of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna (Alix of Hesse), Alexandra Feodorovna. Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna of Russia (Tatiana Nikolaevna Romanova; ; – 17 July 1918) was the second daughter of Tsar Nicholas II, the last monarch of Russia, and of Tsarina Alexandra. Praskovya Ivanovskaya (russian: Прасковья Семёновна Ивановская; 3 November 1852 – 19 September 1935) was a revolutionary from the Russian Empire, was a member of both the Narodnaya Volya (People's Will) and Socialist-Revolutionary Party. Early life Praskovya was born in Sokovnino, Tula Governorate on 3 November 1852. She was the daughter of a priest, and her mother died when she was young, leaving her to be educated at the local boarding school.
