Petra Unkel (3 March 1925 – 2001), also known as Petra Unkel-Klinder, was a Hungarian-born actress of German film, singer, voice actress, radio spokesperson and cabaret artist, who was active in the industry from 1929 until 1958. Life and career Unkel was born in Budapest, in what was then the Kingdom of Hungary, as the daughter of opera tenor Petra Unkel (1880–1942), Unkel started became her career as a child star. She made her debut appearance on screen in 1929 as a four-year-old during the silent film era, in ''Napoleon at Saint Helena'', starring Werner Krauss as Napoleon. Her first starring role came three years after in the 1932, operetta film '' Melody of Love''. Ludwig Schmidseder
Ludwig Schmidseder (24 August 1904, in Passau – 21 June 1971, in Munich) was a German composer and pianist of the "Light Muse". Several of his Schlager compositions are still popular tunes today. The young Schmidseder followed his father's wishes and trained as a banker, whilst taking piano lessons in secret. He furthered his musical education at the Munich Conservatorium, then left for South America in 1926, ending up in Rio de Janeiro. Starting out as a dishwasher, he went on to become an entertainer and play in a trio on ocean cruises. Schmidseder composed music for the trio, and developed into a virtuoso piano player. From 1930 he worked in Berlin, composing film music, creating operettas and writing more than 500 songs, some of which became much-loved hits. He moved from being a bar pianist (until 1936) to being the house composer at the old Berlin Metropol-Theatre. Rudolf Ernst Paul Schündler (17 April 1906, in Leipzig – 12 December 1988, in Munich) was a German actor and director. He played "Karl" in ''The Exorcist'' (1973). After finishing the film ''The Nasty Girl'', Schündler died of a heart attack in Germany, aged 82. The film was released in 1990, two years after his death.
