''The King Must Die'' is the 2005 debut album by Australian indie rock band 26. It was released through Floodboy Records in July 2005. At the time, the band consisted of only two members: Nick O'Donnell and Drew Fellows. O'Donnell sampled and mixed the music from his previous band, Floodboy. 26 (also written as 26 (The Band), 6'' and 26(Twenty Six)) is an Australian musical outfit founded in 2004 by friends Nick O'Donnell (lead vocals/guitar) and Drew Fellows (keyboardist/vocals), who later recruited Ross Duckworth (bass/vocals) and Iain Wilson (drums/vocals). Originally categorised as indie rock, 26 has since employed a variety of guest artists and choirs to produce a sound that is unique to the band. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. ''Births, Deaths & Marriages'' is the second full-length studio album by Australian band 26, released on 24 May 2008 by Floodboy Records and MGM Distribution. With 26's growing popularity from the success of their first album, '' The King Must Die'', the band toured Australia in 2006 for the release of their single "Friendly Fire", which went on to win Rock Song of the Year at the Queensland Music Awards as well as being a finalist in ''The Courier-Mail'' People's Choice Awards. FBi Radio
FBi (call sign: 2FBI) station is an independent, not-for-profit community radio in Sydney, Australia. FBi places a heavy emphasis on local emerging music: it has a policy that at least 50 per cent of its music content is to be Australian, of which at least half comes from Sydney musicians. History FBi began 'test broadcasting' as an 'aspirant broadcaster' in 1995 following the then- Keating government's decision to allocate the last three FM licences in Sydney. The election of John Howard delayed the process as the coalition government focussed on radio licences for country towns. After making a series of short-term broadcasts over eight years, FBi Radio beat 16 other aspirant broadcasters to be granted a permanent licence by the Australian Broadcasting Authority in 2002.
