''The Killing Lights'' is the first and only EP released by The Killing Lights, a side-project for Vampires Everywhere! when that band was inactive. The Killing Lights
Vampires Everywhere! is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The last lineup consisted of vocalist Michael Vampire and guitarists Matti Hoffman and Grey Soto. In 2021, the lead singer Michael Vampire reformed the group, and the band signed with Cleopatra Records, releasing "Witch," a single from their second EP, ''The Awakening'', released in October 2021. History Formation and ''Lost in the Shadows'' (2009–2010) Vampires Everywhere! was founded in 2009 by Michael Orlando (a.k.a. Michael Vampire). The band's name came from the movie '' The Lost Boys''. "Vampires Everywhere!" is a comic book in the movie that explains the rules of vampires and how to kill them. On February 9, 2010, Vampires Everywhere! released their debut EP ''Lost in the Shadows''. Joshua Ingram (born 17 December 1992) is a rock drummer and percussionist. Ingram is best known as the former drummer of American hard rock band New Years Day. He has also toured for internationally loved bands The Defiled and Divine Realm, as well as a Rolling Stone 2014 "best new artist", DOROTHY. Career 2010-2011: Ottawa Bluesfest At the early age of 17, Ingram was the youngest musician to play the 2010 Ottawa Bluesfest. Metalcore EPs
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Vocalists in the genre typically use thrash or scream vocals. Some later metalcore bands combine this with clean singing, often during the chorus.
