Nikola Vukčević (film Director)
Nikola Vukčević is a Montenegrin film director, born on 19 August 1974, in Podgorica, SR Montenegro, Yugoslavia. He is a stage and film director, independent producer since 1995, member of Film board of Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU), and professor at national Faculty of Dramatic Arts – Cetinje. Also, artistic director at City theatre Podgorica, since 2004. Biography Vukcevic is the creative director of Podgorica City Theatre (2003-), professor of Film Directing module at the Department of Film Directing at the Montenegrin National Faculty of Drama Cetinje (FDU Cetinje). Montenegro submitted a film for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film for the first time in 2013. The award is handed out annually by the United States Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to a feature-length motion picture produced outside the United States that contains primarily non-English dialogue. It was not created until the 1956 Academy Awards, in which a competitive Academy Award of Merit, known as the Best Foreign Language Film Award, was created for non-English speaking films, and has been given annually since. This is a list of submissions to the 87th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has invited the film industries of a number of countries to submit their best film for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film every year since the award was created in 1956. It is presented annually by the Academy to a feature-length film produced outside the United States with primarily non-English dialogue. The Foreign Language Film Award Committee oversees the process, reviewing all films submitted. For the 87th Academy Awards, held on 22 February 2015, a submitted motion picture must be released theatrically in its respective country between 1 October 2013 and 30 September 2014. Nebojša "Glogi" Glogovac ( sr-Cyrl, Небојша Глоговац; 30 August 19699 February 2018) was an award-winning Serbian actor, notable for performances in theater, television and film.
