''Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book'', also known as ''The Jungle Book'', is a 1994 American adventure film co-written and directed by Stephen Sommers, produced by Edward S. Feldman and Raju Patel, from a story by Ronald Yanover and Mark Geldman. It is a live-action adaptation of the Mowgli stories from ''The Jungle Book'' (1894) and ''The Second Jungle Book'' (1895) by Rudyard Kipling, alongside Walt Disney's animated film of the same name from 1967. The film stars Jason Scott Lee, Cary Elwes, Lena Headey, Sam Neill, and John Cleese. John Alvin
John Henry Alvin (November 24, 1948 – February 6, 2008) was an American cinematic artist and painter who illustrated many movie posters. Alvin created posters and key art for more than 135 films, beginning with the poster for Mel Brooks' ''Blazing Saddles'' (1974). His style of art became known as ''Alvinesque'' by friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry. Maternal death or maternal mortality is defined in slightly different ways by several different health organizations. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines maternal death as the death of a pregnant mother due to complications related to pregnancy, underlying conditions worsened by the pregnancy or management of these conditions.
