''The Joy'' is the second studio album by The Neverclaim. Radiate Music alongside The Fuel Music released the album on July 17, 2015. The Neverclaim worked with producer, Ian Eskelin, in the making of this album. The album was funded through a PledgeMusic campaign. Critical reception Awarding the album four stars from '' CCM Magazine'', Rebekah Bell states, "The band's pop-rock style is fresh, energetic, and compelling—filled with songs that fans will want to listen to time and again." Marcus Hathcock, giving the album four and a half stars for New Release Today, writes, "throughout the 10 tracks of ''The Joy'', all with passionate and musically excellent flair." Indicating in a four and a half star review at ''Worship Leader'', Amanda Furbeck describes, "The Neverclaim is back with another heart, soul, and ear pleasing pop-rock album, ''The Joy''." The Neverclaim
The Neverclaim is a Christian contemporary Christian music band from Portland, Oregon. They are on the Essential Records label, which they released their first studio album on September 24, 2013, entitled ''The Neverclaim''. Their second album, '' The Joy'', was released from The Fuel Music in association with Radiate Music, in 2015. Background The Neverclaim are from Portland, Oregon and Houston, Texas, but their home church is The Vineyard in Vancouver, Washington. The quartet claim as influences to their musical style the likes of Third Day, Kevin Prosch, Rich Mullins, Bruce Springsteen, Keith Green, Hall and Oates, The Decemberists, Foo Fighters, Keith Urban and Vineyard Worship. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Ian Eskelin
Ian Eskelin (born October 17, 1969), is a record producer, songwriter, solo artist, and founding member and lead singer of the Grammy-nominated Christian rock band All Star United, and president of recording and publishing company Radiate Music. He won the Dove Award for "Producer of the Year" in 2011 and 2008, and was nominated for the same award in 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2012. Eskelin also has received multiple Dove and Grammy nominations for his songwriting and production work working with artists such as Francesca Battistelli "Holy Spirit", 7eventh Time Down "God Is on the Move", Sidewalk Prophets, Chris August, and Hawk Nelson to name a few. ''CCM Magazine'' is a twice-monthly online magazine focusing on contemporary Christian music, published by Salem Publishing, a division of Salem Communications. History ''CCM'' was first published in July 1978, as a printed magazine. It has been owned by Salem since 1999.
