The Journey To Melonia
''The Journey to Melonia'' ( sv, Resan till Melonia; full English title: ''The Journey to Melonia: Fantasies of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest''') is a 1989 Swedish-Norwegian animated adventure fantasy film directed by Per Åhlin, loosely based on William Shakespeare's '' The Tempest''. It was Åhlin's first fully animated feature film, as his earlier films ''Out of an Old Man's Head'' and ''Dunderklumpen!'' had both used a mix of animation and live action. The film won two Guldbagge Awards for Best Creative Achievement (a category with three awards for technical achievements without their own categories); the first to Åhlin for the animation, the second to Björn Isfält for the score. Per Åhlin
Per Johan Axel Åhlin (born 7 August 1931) is a Swedish artist and director of animated films. He is known for his collaborations with the comedy duo Hasse & Tage and for his own projects such as the feature film '' The Journey to Melonia''. Career Åhlin started his career as an artist for the Hasse & Tage production ''Svenska bilder'' from 1964. After that he has worked on several other Hasse & Tage films, including the largely animated ''Out of an Old Man's Head'' from 1968, and '' The Adventures of Picasso'' from 1978, where he provided and animated Picasso's paintings. Hans Folke "Hasse" Alfredson (28 June 1931 – 10 September 2017) was a Swedish actor, film director, writer, and comedian. He was born in Malmö, Sweden. He is known for his collaboration with Tage Danielsson as the duo Hasse & Tage and their production company AB Svenska Ord ("Swedish Words Ltd"). Eva Gunilla Johansson Rydberg (born 20 June 1943) is a Swedish singer, actress, comedian, revue-artist and dancer. Biography Early life Eva Rydberg was born in Malmö. She started ballet school at a young age and acted at a children's theater at Malmö Folkets Park. In her teens, she danced ballet at Malmö Stadsteater. When she learnt that Povel Ramel was searching for dancers for the Knäppupp-Revue at the Ideontheater in Stockholm, she sent in a photo and got the job.
