The Jet Set (TV Program)
The Jet Set (also known as ''Jet Set TV'') is an American travel-themed nationally syndicated television series which is broadcast weekly. The show debuted with hosts Bobby Laurie, Jessica Reyes and Gailen David. In 2018 Nikki Noya replaced Jessica Reyes and in 2019 Gailen David left the show. The travel and lifestyle show started in 2016 and has been running for 5 seasons so far. The show is produced by On it media where the production studio is located at Washington DC. Episodes and Broadcast The first episode of the Jet Set was broadcast on 5 March 2016. Since then total of five seasons of the show has been filmed with each season having more or less 40 episodes each. Bobby Laurie
Robert Laurie (also known as Bobby Laurie) is a journalist, television travel expert, the co-host of The Jet Set as well as a traffic anchor and reporter at iHeartMedia and ABC7. Career Laurie started his career in the travel industry in 2005, working as a flight attendant at US Airways. After 6 months, he held various other positions, notably reaching the post of an analyst focused on in-flight policies. In 2009, Laurie joined the media by started a travel blog. His blog quickly became popular making him a go-to expert in the field. Later his most-read articles were published as in a book titled ''Planely Speaking: Inflight Insight from Thirty Thousand Feet''. Z Living (formerly Veria Living) is an American digital cable and satellite television network. Gailen David
Gailen David is an American former flight attendant, labor activist and entrepreneur. He is best known for '' Take Off! with The Savvy Stews'', ''The Jet Set'' and his appearance in the film, ''Miami Shakedown''.'' Background David began his career in 1977, at the age of 10, when he began working as an amateur travel agent. By the age of 19, he began applying for flight attendant jobs and became an attendant in American Airlines in 1988. In 1998, after several inflight conflicts with passengers, he took an extended leave of absence. After 10 months, he returned with a positive attitude and began his second virtual career as a motivational speaker making presentations at workshops about how he became a good purser using a video clips series starring entitled ''Why I Fly — Gailen's Story''. STARLITE
Starlite is an intumescent material said to be able to withstand and insulate from extreme heat. It was invented by British hairdresser and amateur chemist Maurice Ward (1933–2011) during the 1970s and 1980s, and received significant publicity after coverage of the material aired in 1990 on the BBC science and technology show ''Tomorrow's World''.
