The Jaquie Brown Diaries
''The Jaquie Brown Diaries'' is a satirical New Zealand sitcom in which real-life television personality Jaquie Brown plays a fictionalised, over-ambitious, status-obsessed version of herself. The series was created by Gerard Johnstone, Jaquie Brown and Hayley Cunningham and premiered 25 July 2008 on TV3. The US cable television channel Logo began broadcasting the series' episodes to date 12 June 2010. Themes The show highlights the unglamorous reality of being a celebrity in New Zealand. It depicts fame as a game that can never be won. Jaquie's character is far from perfect. She's insecure, petulant and selfish, which makes her ultimately more human and relatable as a result. The single-camera setup originally developed during the birth of the classical Hollywood cinema in the 1910s and has remained the standard mode of production for cinema. Steven Carl Braunias (born 20 June 1960) is a New Zealand author, columnist, journalist and editor. He is the author of 11 books. Early life and family Braunias was born in New Zealand to an Austrian immigrant father and a New Zealand-born mother. He is the younger brother of artist Mark Braunias. He grew up in Mount Maunganui reading ''Shoot'' magazine, ''Roy of the Rovers'' and ''Tiger and Scorcher'' comic books. Rodney Hide
Rodney Philip Hide (born 16 December 1956) is a former New Zealand politician of the ACT New Zealand party. Hide was a Member of Parliament for ACT from 1996 until 2011, was ACT's leader between 2004 and 2011, and represented the constituency from 2005 to 2011. In the Fifth National Government, Hide was Minister of Local Government, Associate Minister of Commerce and Minister of Regulatory Reform until 2011. Shavaughn Ruakere (born 3 March 1978) is a New Zealand Māori people, Māori actress and television presenter. She is best known for her role as presenter on the children's TV show What Now. Gregory Mark Sainsbury (born 1956) is a New Zealand journalist and broadcaster. He hosted ''Close Up'' on TVNZ's TV ONE until the show was axed on 30 November 2012. Previously he was the political editor for '' ONE News''. In February 2016, he replaced Sean Plunket as weekday morning host on Radio Live, until the station closed down and ceased operating in January 2019. Sainsbury grew up in Upper Hutt. Helen Clark
Helen Elizabeth Clark (born 26 February 1950) is a New Zealand politician who served as the 37th prime minister of New Zealand from 1999 to 2008, and was the administrator of the United Nations Development Programme from 2009 to 2017. A power nap or cat nap is a short sleep that terminates before deep sleep (slow-wave sleep; SWS). A power nap is intended to quickly revitalize the sleeper. Cornell University social psychologist James Maas coined the term. A power nap combined with consuming caffeine is called a stimulant nap, coffee nap, caffeine nap, or nappuccino.
