The Jam (comics)
The Jam, formally known as the Jammer, is a fictional costumed hero, created by writer-artist Bernie Mireault, who originally appeared in Canadian comic books published by Matrix Graphics Series. The Jammer made his first appearance in ''New Triumph Featuring Northguard'' #2 (1985). The Jammer is the alter ego of Gordon "Gordie" Kirby, an otherwise normal guy who found he enjoyed patrolling the rooftops of his home city of Montréal in a homemade superhero costume. The Jammer is not really a superhero. He often finds himself in the right place at the right time, and is compelled to act heroically. Sometimes he is hired to do good deeds. His personal mission is to "dominate the world with peace, love, and free beer". Through the course of his career, he has battled terrorists, a delusional psychiatrist, and even servants of the Devil. Mike Allred
Michael Dalton Allred is an American comic book artist and writer most famous for his independent comics creations, ''Madman'' and ''iZombie''. His style is often compared to pop art, as well as commercial and comic art of the 1950s and 1960s. Early life Allred was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon his parents' divorce, he was raised with his father in Oregon, while his brothers and mother moved to Utah. He considers himself a Mormon, though a liberal-leaning one, and has stated that he still identifies with the beliefs, and considers the Book of Mormon to be a phenomenal and fascinating story, irrespective of its factual accuracy. Joe Pruett
Joe Pruett (January 8, 1966) is an People of the United States, American comic book writer, editor, and publisher. Biography Pruett broke into the industry during the year of 1989 as Bob Burden's assistant on Flaming Carrot Comics, where he inked backgrounds, assisted on lettering, and transcribed scripts. He worked with Burden from issues #23-29. In 1992 Joe joined Gary Reed (comics), Gary Reed's Caliber Comics where he served through 1998 as a writer, an editor, and a creative director. While at Caliber, Joe's anthology title, ''Negative Burn'', was nominated for numerous Harvey Award, Harvey and Eisner Award, Eisner awards. In 1998 he left Caliber to become a freelance writer and became a regular contributor to Marvel Comics, Marvel's X-Men books. Milwaukie, Oregon
Milwaukie is a city mostly in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States; a very small portion of the city extends into Multnomah County. The population was 20,291 at the 2010 census.
