The Indian High School, Dubai
The Indian High School is a CBSE-affiliated Indian school in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was established in 1961 to provide education to the children of Indian expatriates and was the first expatriate educational institution in the UAE. The school is one of the small number of not-for-profit schools in the emirate, and is rated "Very Good" by Dubai's KHDA. It is the oldest, largest educational institution in the Gulf region. History The Indian High School was founded in 1961 by Maghanmal Pancholia with a view of providing education to the children of Indian expats. It was the first expatriate educational institution to be established in Dubai. The land for the school was granted by the then ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The initial enrollment was 8 students; it has since grown to more than 15,000 across all three campuses, including 370 students with special needs. The school has about 600 teachers. Red Line (Dubai Metro)
The Red Line is one of the two lines on the Dubai Metro network in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Red Line runs from Rashidiya in the east to Jebel Ali in the west and travels parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road for most of its length. There are two transfer stations with the Green Line at Union and BurJuman stations. Additionally Jabal Ali is an interchange between the main Red Line and a branch to UAE Exchange. Tanisha Crasto
Tanisha Crasto (born 5 May 2003) is an Indian badminton player who was born in the United Arab Emirates. While formerly representing Bahrain, she won the women's doubles event at the 2016 Bahrain International Challenge partnered with Aprilsasi Putri Lejarsar Variella. In 2017, when she was 14 years old, she created history by winning the Indian Club UAE Open tournament in the women's singles event after beating Negin Amiripour of Iran. She was also part of the Prime Star Sports Academy club that won the Shuttle Time Dubai Club Badminton Championship. Arushee Wahi
Arushee Wahi is an Indian swimmer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is a three-time winner of The Sheikh Hamdan Award for distinguished performance (2007, 2010 and 2013) as well as winner of the Sharjah Award. Wahi has won the Chacha Nehru scholarship for sports on a number of occasions. In 2012 she was the Uttar Pradesh state champion and CBSE national champion in India. Deepak Devraj Komath (born 30 April 1978), better known as Deepak Dev, is an Indian music composer, best known for his compositions in Malayalam cinema. He started his career in the Film Industry through the movie ''Chronic Bachelor'' (2003) directed by Siddique. Deepak is also a former member of the Kochi based Indian rock band Motherjane.
