''The Incorrigible'' (Spanish: ''La incorregible'') is a 1931 film directed by Leo Mittler and starring Enriqueta Serrano, Tony D'Algy and Gabriel Algara.Finkielman p.172 Made at the Joinville Studios in Paris, it is the Spanish-language version of the 1930 American film ''Manslaughter (1930 film), Manslaughter''. Such multi-language versions were common in the early years of film. Paramount Pictures also made French, German and Swedish versions of the film. Leo Mittler
Leo Mittler (18 December 1893 – 16 May 1958) was an Austrian playwright, screenwriter and film director. Mittler was born in Vienna, then the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, to a Jewish family. He attended the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, University of Music and Performing Arts and worked as a playwright and director in the German theatre. Mittler then switched to work in the booming German film industry during the silent era. Mittler's best known film as director was ''Beyond the Street'' (1929), a "street film" influenced by Soviet cinema.Prawer p.89 As well as his work in the German industry, Mittler also spent time at the American company Paramount Pictures, Paramount's French language-subsidiary based at the Joinville Studios in Paris. Carmen Muñoz
Carmen Muñoz is a Costa Rican politician and activist. She is the Vice-Minister Of Government and Police named by president Luis Guillermo Solís and commissioned to separate and turn it into an independent ministry of the Ministry of Public Security. She was a congresswoman in the Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica where she headed the Citizen Action Party. To date Muñoz is the only out lesbian in parliament or in charge of a ministry. Muñoz was born in Alajuelita in Costa Rica. Her father worked at the Costa Rican Institute of Electricity and her mother was a housewife; she has seven brothers.
