''The In-Kraut, Vol. 2: Hip-Shaking Grooves Made in Germany 1967-1974'' is the second volume in the In-Kraut series that was released by Marina Records on compact disc and double vinyl in October 2006. The album is a collection of obscuro German pop rarities, collected from various soundtracks and singles by artists who never intended to have their music released outside Germany. It includes an early track by Krautrock band Can under the name The Inner Space, featuring the vocals of German actress, model, and author , from 1968. Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom. Jürgen Ehlers (musician)
Jürgen Ehlers (; 29 December 1929 – 20 May 2008) was a German physicist who contributed to the understanding of Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity. From graduate and postgraduate work in Pascual Jordan's relativity research group at Hamburg University, he held various posts as a lecturer and, later, as a professor before joining the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Munich as a director. In 1995, he became the founding director of the newly created Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Potsdam, Germany. Ehlers' research focused on the foundations of general relativity as well as on the theory's applications to astrophysics. He formulated a suitable classification of exact solutions to Einstein's field equations and proved the Ehlers–Geren–Sachs theorem that justifies the application of simple, general-relativistic model universes to modern cosmology. Dieter Reith
Dieter Reith (25 February 1938 – 1 April 2020) was a German organist and pianist. Biography Reith began taking piano lessons in 1945. In 1956, he played with the jazz club "Katakombe" in Mainz. After he earned his Abitur in 1958, he studied music and experimental physics. From 1970 to 1973, Reith was an organist for Peter Herbolzheimer's group. He arranged the music for the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. The following year, he moved to Stuttgart and directed the Süddeutscher Rundfunk orchestra. He directed the orchestra representing Germany in the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest. He also worked for the German production music label Sonoton. In 1997, Reith became a member of the GEMA (German organization), GEMA executive committee. Rolf Alexander Wilhelm (23 June 1927 – 17 January 2013) was a German composer, film composer, arranger and conductor. Life Born in Munich, at the age of seven Wilhelm received piano lessons. Hildegard Frieda Albertine Knef (; 28 December 19251 February 2002) was a German actress, voice actress, singer, and writer. She was billed in some English-language films as Hildegard Neff or Hildegarde Neff. Early years Hildegard Knef was born in Ulm in 1925. Her parents were Hans Theodor and Friede Augustine Knef. Mary Roos (born Rosemarie Schwab on 9 January 1949) is a German singer and actress. Biography 1949-1970 Schwab was born in Bingen.
