Simon Pasternak
Simon Pasternak (born 1971) is a Danish author and publisher. He holds a master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Copenhagen. Together with his author colleague Christian Dorph Simon Pasternak is writing a series of crime novels that all take place in the last fourth of the twentieth century and in which historical events and people play a crucial role. In 2014 Pasternak was awarded the Harald Mogensen Prize by the Danish Criminal Academy (''Det danske Kriminalakademi'', DKA) for his novel Death Zones. Søren Malling
Søren Dyrberg Malling (; born 3 February 1964) is a Danish actor. Career Raised in Kjellerup, Malling trained at Skuespillerskolen at Odense Teater in 1992. He is best known for his role as Inspector Jan Meyer in the Danish TV crime thriller ''Forbrydelsen''. In 2010 Malling played Torben Friis in another Danish series, ''Borgen'', and later had a major role in '' 1864'', resulting in him achieving international recognition. In his spare time Malling plays tennis. He is married to actress , who played his character's wife Hanne in ''Forbrydelsen''. Agger also appears in ''Borgen''. Christina Rosendahl (born 5 January 1971) is a Danish film director. A nominee for several Robert Awards, she is known for her work on the films ''Supervoksen'' (2007), ''The Idealist'' (2015), and ''The Good Traitor'' (2020). Biography Christina Rosendahl was born on 5 January 1971 in Nykøbing Falster, a city in Region Zealand. She was educated at the University of Copenhagen, where she was a student in Comparative Literary History and Film and Media Studies; European Film College (1995-1996), where she befriended Peter Albrechtsen (who would later become a sound designer and a long-time creative partner); New York Film Academy; and Super16, a non-traditional film school in Valby. 1968 Thule Air Base B-52 Crash
On 21 January 1968, an aircraft accident, sometimes known as the Thule affair or Thule accident (; da, Thuleulykken), involving a United States Air Force (USAF) B-52 bomber occurred near Thule Air Base in the Danish territory of Greenland. The aircraft was carrying four B28FI thermonuclear bombs on a Cold War " Chrome Dome" alert mission over Baffin Bay when a cabin fire forced the crew to abandon the aircraft before they could carry out an emergency landing at Thule Air Base. Six crew members ejected safely, but one who did not have an ejection seat was killed while trying to bail out. The bomber crashed onto sea ice in North Star Bay, Greenland, causing the conventional explosives aboard to detonate and the nuclear payload to rupture and disperse, resulting in radioactive contamination of the area.
