''The House at the End of Time'' ( es, La casa del fin de los tiempos) is a 2013 Venezuelan horror film directed by Alejandro Hidalgo and starring Ruddy Rodríguez. The film had its world premiere on June 17, 2013, at the Venezuelan Film Festival. It is the highest-grossing horror film in Venezuelan history, and the most internationally-distributed Venezuelan film. In 2016, New Line Cinema announced that it was planning to remake the film with Hidalgo. Plot In 1981, Dulce ) lived in an old house with her sons Leopoldo and Rodrigo, and her husband Juan José. Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre (BARS) is an international film festival devoted to the genres of science fiction, horror and fantasy. It began in 2000 with a focus on independent films in those genres, and since 2004 in the form of a competitive festival, Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre is well attended with over 200 films shown and 12.000 public and industry admissions each year. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Although the name "Rotten Tomatoes" connects to the practice of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes in disapproval of a poor stage performance, the original inspiration comes from a scene featuring tomatoes in the Canadian film ''Léolo'' (1992). FrightFest, also known as Arrow Video FrightFest is an annual film festival held in London and Glasgow. The festival holds three major events each year: a festival running five days over the UK late August Bank Holiday weekend, a Halloween event held in London in late October, and a festival in Glasgow held around February as part of the Glasgow Film Festival. The first event was held in London in 2000 and the first Glasgow festival was held in 2006.
