The Hockey Champ
''The Hockey Champ'' is a 1939 Donald Duck short film, produced in Technicolor and released by Walt Disney Productions. Plot Donald Duck is skating on a frozen duck swamp (at one point mocking Sonja Henie, an Olympic figure skater and popular movie star at the time), when he spots his nephews playing ice hockey too roughly. He shows his nephews the moves that won him his ice hockey trophy. But the boys have a few moves of their own, and chaos ensues. James Patton "Jack" King (November 4, 1895 – October 4, 1958)Lenburg (2006), pp. 179-180 was an American animator and short film director best known for his work at Walt Disney Productions. Career According to Jeff Lenburg's assessment of him, King was an early pioneer of animation. His films were nominated three times for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. He started his career in the silent film era. He spent most of his career working at Walt Disney Productions (later known as the Walt Disney Animation Studios). He directed many well-regarded films. King was born in 1895 in Birmingham, Alabama. He started his animation career in 1920, working at Bray Productions animation studio. He directed the ''Judge Rummy'' series (1920-1921) for the International Film Service. The silent animated series was based on the comic strip ''Judge Rummy'' by Tad Dorgan. Huey, Dewey, And Louie
Huey, Dewey, and Louie are triplet cartoon characters created by storyboard artist ( screenwriter) Carl Barks for The Walt Disney Company from an idea proposed by cartoonist Al Taliaferro and are the nephews of Donald Duck and the grand-nephews of Scrooge McDuck. Like their maternal uncles, the brothers are anthropomorphic white ducks with yellow-orange bills and feet. The boys are sometimes distinguished by the color of their shirts and baseball caps (with Huey wearing red, Dewey wearing blue, and Louie wearing green). They featured in many ''Donald Duck'' animated shorts and in the television show ''DuckTales'' and its reboot, but comics remain their primary medium.
