"The Great Unknown" is a song written by Hale's Roll Martinez, and recorded by Filipino singer-actress Sarah Geronimo. It was released as the second single from Geronimo's platinum album of the same title. The song features the band Hale. The accompanying music video peaked at #1 on both Myx Philippines and MTV Pinoy charts. The song won "Favourite Collaboration" at the 2017 edition of Myx Music Awards. Music video The music video was directed by Nolan Bernardino who directed Geronimo's previous music video for her song "Minamahal." It was premiered on MYX and MTV Pinoy on September 26, 2016. Hale is a Filipino alternative rock band, formed in Manila, Philippines in 2004. The group originally consisted of singer and guitarist Champ Lui Pio, bassist Sheldon Gellada, guitarist Roll Martinez and drummer Omnie Saroca. This line-up remained unchanged until the departure of Saroca in 2008; he was then replaced by Paolo Santiago. In March 2017, Chino David of Silent Sanctuary became the band's fifth member. "Tala" () is a song by Filipino singer and actress Sarah Geronimo co-written with Nica del Rosario and Emmanuel Sambayan with music and production by Jumbo De Belen and Alisson Shore of Flip Music Production. MTV Pinoy (formerly MTV Philippines) was a Philippine music and entertainment pay television network owned by Viacom International Media Networks Asia (a division of Viacom International Media Networks), with a partnership with Viva Entertainment to collaborate on local productions, events, marketing and advertising sales. The network was launched on February 1, 2014. It operated from 4pm to 1am, after that it would rebroadcast MTV Asia's programming.
