Ralph Dunn (May 23, 1900 – February 19, 1968) was an American film, television, and stage actor. Early years Dunn was born in Titusville, Pennsylvania. His father was a veterinarian for the U.S. Army during World War I, and his mother was an actress. Dunn was enrolled briefly at the University of Pennsylvania, but left after a short time to join a vaudeville troupe. Edward Lester Smith (October 8, 1911September 20, 2002), stage name Bruce Edwards, was an American actor and photographer. He primarily played supporting roles in Hollywood films and film serials of the 1940s and early 1950s. After retiring in 1953, he pursued a photography career. A yachting enthusiast, he was also the owner-director of a summer camp for boys. Early life and education Edward Lester Smith was born on October 8, 1911, in Los Angeles, California. His parents were Clarence F. Smith and Susan Lotta. His father, a captain in the American Expeditionary Forces in World War I, was killed in action in 1918. He was raised by his mother. Paul Campbell (February 27, 1923 – March 17, 1999), was an American film actor. He appeared in over 30 films between 1947 and 1959. Campbell was best known for his work at Columbia Pictures, where he usually portrayed tall, handsome leading men of the western genre. Lucille Barkley (born Lucille Oshinski, November 3, 1924 – March 19, 1979) was an American film actress. Early years The daughter of Florian and Verna Oshinski, Barkley was born in Pennsylvania but considered Rochester, New York, her hometown. She gained early acting experience with productions of the Rochester Community Players. She left Rochester in 1948 to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Career Barkley worked as a model with the Harry Conover agency. She began her film career with Paramount Pictures, and after a year she signed with Universal-International. In the mid-1950s, she began acting on television, including one episode of the Abbott and Costello Show, entitled, "Efficiency Experts."
