''The Golden Age'' is the fourth studio album by British hardcore punk band Your Demise. The first single from the album, ''Forget About Me'', was released on 3 January 2012, with the album following on 26 March 2012. Your Demise
Your Demise were a British hardcore punk band from St Albans, England, formed in 2003. They shared stages and toured worldwide with the likes of Comeback Kid, Basement, Trapped Under Ice, Man Overboard, Enter Shikari, Parkway Drive, A Day to Remember and Bring Me the Horizon. On 22 September 2008, the band confirmed that they had signed a deal with Visible Noise. The band played their final gig at The London Underworld on 15 March 2014, after announcing in 2013 that they would be parting ways in March. They reunited for a one off benefit show for The Ghost Inside in 2015. They reunited again for the anniversary of The Kids We Used to Be but the shows were postponed due to the COVID-19 situation. Melodic Hardcore
Melodic hardcore is a broadly defined subgenre of hardcore punk with a strong emphasis on melody in its guitar work. It generally incorporates fast rhythms, melodic and often distorted guitar riffs, and vocal styles tending towards shouting and screaming. Nevertheless, the genre has been very diverse, with different bands showcasing very different styles. Many pioneering melodic hardcore bands (such as Bad Religion and Descendents), have proven influential across the spectrum of punk rock, as well as rock music more generally. Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. Down to Nothing (or DTN) was a straight edge hardcore punk band from Richmond, Virginia. Since their inception in 2000, the band has toured all over the world. Their most recent studio recording is the 2013 LP ''Life on the James'' on Revelation Records, preceded by CD/vinyl EP titled ''All My Sons'' released in 2010 on Reaper Records (US) and Dead Souls Records (AUS). Terror is an American hardcore band from Los Angeles, formed in 2002. The band has undergone several line-up changes, all overseen by founding members Scott Vogel (lead vocals) and Nick Jett (drums). Letlive, stylized letlive., was an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band's final lineup consisted of lead vocalist Jason Aalon Butler (son of Aalon Butler, vocalist and guitarist of the soul group Aalon), guitarist Jeff Sahyoun, bassist Ryan Jay Johnson and drummer Loniel Robinson. Josh Franceschi
Joshua James Alphonse Franceschi (born 7 August 1990) is an English singer and songwriter. He is lead vocalist of rock band You Me at Six. Early life Josh was born to parents Anne Franceschi and Christian Franceschi in Weybridge, Surrey. He is of Corsican-French (paternal) descent. He has one sister, Elissa Franceschi who is also a vocalist. He lived in Cyprus in his early childhood, but later moved to Twickenham to live with his grandmother. At the age of 9, he moved back to Weybridge, Surrey. He attended Heathside School until he was 16, and then moved to Esher College, where he studied A-Levels in politics, history and film studies. He now lives in north London. You Me at Six are an English rock band from Weybridge, Surrey. The band consists of lead singer Josh Franceschi, guitarists Max Helyer and Chris Miller, bassist Matt Barnes and drummer Daniel Flint. Formed in 2004, the name for the group originated as an abbreviation for the group making Friday night plans after a concert. The band has released seven studio albums and one live album. Brutality Will Prevail
Brutality Will Prevail (sometimes abbreviated BWP) were a Welsh hardcore band founded in Cardiff in 2005. They have toured Europe and Asia and have made festival appearances at Reading and Leeds, Download and Ghostfest. They have also been covered in magazines such as the ''NME'' and ''Kerrang!'' History The band was formed in 2005 by guitarist James Goodman and drummer Adam Evans, the line-up was completed by bassist Dale Williams and vocalist Gareth Arnold.
