"The Girlfriend Song" is the second and final single by the Australian rock band Tlot Tlot. The single was released in 1995 and was nominated for the ARIA award for Best Pop Release. Tlot Tlot ( or ) were an Australian pop rock band formed in 1986 as Man in the Wood. The original line-up was Owen Bolwell on bass guitar and lead vocals, Andrew Briant on lead guitar, and Stanley Paulzen on drums and lead vocals. Briant left in 1991 and the band name was changed to Tlot Tlot. Their 1995 single, "The Girlfriend Song", reached the ARIA Singles Chart Top 100 and was nominated for Best Pop Release at ARIA Music Awards of 1995. ''Fashion Takes a Holiday'' is the fourth and final studio album by the Australian rock band Tlot Tlot and their only covers album. It was released in 1994. Track list The band covered "Just Can't Get Enough" on their live album ''The Live Set - Volume 1'' two years earlier - the recording from that album is included on this album. As well as the tracks listed here, at least two more tracks, "The Girlfriend Song" and "Stink", were recorded in the sessions. "In the Summertime", released in 1970, is the debut single by British rock band Mungo Jerry. It reached number one in charts around the world, including seven weeks on the UK Singles Chart, two weeks on one of the Canadian charts, and number three on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 singles chart in the US. It became one of the best-selling singles of all-time, eventually selling 30 million copies.
