"The Girl Next Door" is the seventh episode of the first season of the American mystery television series ''Veronica Mars''. Co-written by Jed Seidel and Diane Ruggiero and directed by Nick Marck, the episode premiered on UPN on November 9, 2004. The series depicts the adventures of Veronica Mars ( Kristen Bell) as she deals with life as a high school student while moonlighting as a private detective. ''Veronica Mars'' is an American teen noir mystery drama television series created by screenwriter Rob Thomas. The series is set in the fictional town of Neptune, California, and stars Kristen Bell as the eponymous character. Veronica Mars (character)
Veronica Mars is the fictional protagonist, occasional narrator (through voice-overs), and antiheroine of the American television series ''Veronica Mars'', which aired on UPN from 2004 to 2006 and on The CW from 2006 to 2007. The character was portrayed by Kristen Bell through the duration of the series. Following the show's cancellation, Bell reprised the role in the 2014 film continuation. Flagpole
A flagpole, flagmast, flagstaff, or staff is a pole designed to support a flag. Kyle Ivan Secor (born May 31, 1957) is an American television and film actor. He is known for portraying Detective Tim Bayliss on the crime drama series '' Homicide: Life on the Street'' (1993–1999). Edward Wilkes Dunn (born June 19, 1980) is an American lawyer and former actor known for his portrayal of Duncan Kane in the Rob Thomas television series ''Veronica Mars''. A narrative work beginning ''in medias res'' (, "into the middle of things") opens in the midst of the plot (cf. ''ab ovo'', ''ab initio'').
