''The Gift'' is an Australian children's television series that first screened on the Nine Network Australia in 1997. It featured 26 half-hour episodes produced by Barron Entertainment Ltd. The show reaired on the ABC in December 1998, and on ABC3 in 2011. Synopsis The Gift is passed on from one person to the next and gives the carrier the power to do anything they dream. When the Gift carrier discovers the Gift's true potential they have to pass it on to someone else. Children's television series (or children's television shows) are television programs designed for children, normally scheduled for broadcast during the morning and afternoon when children are awake. They can sometimes run during the early evening, allowing younger children to watch them after school. The purpose of these shows is mainly to entertain or educate. Igor Sas
Igor Sas is an Australian film, television and stage actor. He is best known for his work on children's television series such as ''Parallax'', ''Wormwood'', ''Lockie Leonard'' and '' The Gift''. He has also appeared in a number of films, including ''Japanese Story''. Career Sas began his career in 1982 in the Australian soap opera '' Sons and Daughters''. He appeared in multiple episodes of television shows ''Ship to Shore'' between 1993 and 1994, '' The Gift'' in 1997, and '' Minty'' in 1998. Sas acted alongside Marcus Graham and Kerry Armstrong in 1998's ''Justice'', starred in ''Bad Credit and Aliens'' (2001) and played Fraser in the feature film ''Japanese Story'' with Toni Collette.
