The Gangster (2012 Film)
''The Gangster'' ( th, อันธพาล, Anthaphan) is a 2012 Sahamongkol's Thai drama action film directed and written by Kongkiat Khomsiri. Synopsis Bangkok in the 1950s, from Salak Hin lane in Hua Lamphong neighborhood to the seven-storey building in Yaowarat and Wongwian Yi Sip Song Karakadakhom (July 22 Circle), they were under the gang of Thai Chinese mafia called "Four Kings". Jod and Dang are the young men who goodfriend each other. Especially Dang is a leader and he is very respected among teenagers. They are in a gang by elder members as bosses, but one day Dang also suffered from a fatal car accident. After the coup (1957 coup by Sarit Thanarat) the new government has a policy to get rid of the gangs. As a result, these gang mafia scattered and Jod to fights with who are his former friends and his boss. Kongkiat Khomsiri
Kongkiat "Kome" Komesiri ( th, ก้องเกียรติ โขมศิริ, born 2 June 1975, in Thailand) is a Thai film director and screenwriter. Film career He graduated from the Faculty of Mass Communications at Bangkok University and started his career as a crew member on '' Mysterious Object at Noon'', the first feature film by Apichatpong Weerasethakul. He then went to work for Five Star Production, working with director Thanit Jitnukul on the films '' Bang Rajan'' and '' Kunpan: Legend of the Warlord''. He made his directorial debut in 2005 with ''Art of the Devil 2'', credited as part of the seven-member "Ronin Team" of directors. His solo directorial debut was '' Muay Thai Chaiya'' in 2007. Field Marshal Sarit Thanarat (also spelt ''Dhanarajata''; th, สฤษดิ์ ธนะรัชต์, ; 16 June 1908 – 8 December 1963) was a Thai general who staged a coup in 1957, replacing Plaek Phibunsongkhram as Thailand's prime minister until Sarit died in 1963. ''Dang Bireley's and Young Gangsters'' (Thai: 2499 อันธพาลครองเมือง or ''2499 Antapan Krong Muang''; literally: ''2499 Gangsters Rule the City'') is a 1997 crime drama film about young Thai gangsters in 1950s Thailand.
