''The Gang'' is a 2000 Malayalam-language crime thriller film directed and cinematographed by J. Williams. Vani Viswanath, Suvarna Mathew, Steffi, Jagadeesh, Spadikam George. The film is produced under the banner of Cochin Films. Plot The film is set against the backdrop of the popular beach resort, Kovalam. A drug racket run by a foreigner on the beach with the help of locals and a coast guard forms the crux of the film. Baburaj (actor)
Baburaj Jacob, mononymously known as Baburaj, is an Indian actor, director, and screenwriter who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema and has also appeared in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. He began and established his career in cinema by playing antagonistic roles and graduated to comedic and character roles after the 2011 film ''Salt N' Pepper''. Personal life Baburaj was born to P. J. Jacob Oleekkal and T. I. Karmali Thottungal on 5 March 1964. Baburaj married twice. He has two sons from his first marriage named Abhay and Akshay. His second marriage is to South Indian action heroine Vani Viswanath. The couple has two children, a daughter named Aarcha and a son named Adhri. Baburaj is a lawyer. They reside at Kochi. Mafia Sasi, aka Sasidharan, is an Indian athlete and stuntman mainly in Malayalam movies. He has performed stunts in all South Indian languages for more than 1000 films. Muhammed Haneefa (22 April 1951 – 2 February 2010), better known by his stage name Cochin Haneefa, was an Indian actor, film director, and screenwriter.
