Wayne Francis Carey (born 27 May 1971) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the North Melbourne Football Club and Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A dual-premiership captain at North Melbourne ( 1996 and 1999), four-time North Melbourne best-and-fairest ( Syd Barker Medallist) and seven-time All-Australian, Carey is nicknamed "The King", or "Duck". Scott Cummings (footballer)
Scott Cummings (born 18 January 1974) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for , , the West Coast Eagles, and in the Australian Football League. Cummings played primarily as a full forward and won the Coleman Medal in 1999 AFL season, 1999 for being the leading goalscorer for the season. Although he was well renowned for his goal kicking abilities, Cummings occasionally played centre half back while playing in the reserve team at Essendon. 10 Bold is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel owned by Network 10. It originally launched on 26 March 2009 as One HD with a focus on broadcasting sports-based programming and events, but rebranded to One in April 2011 to more reality, scripted and adventure-based programming aimed at males between the ages of 25 to 54. As of October 2018, the channel now primarily broadcasts dramatic programming aimed towards viewers 40 and older. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video. Dolby Digital, originally synonymous with Dolby AC-3, is the name for what has now become a family of audio compression technologies developed by Dolby Laboratories. Formerly named Dolby Stereo Digital until 1995, the audio compression is lossy (except for Dolby TrueHD), based on the modified discrete cosine transform (MDCT) algorithm. Australian Football League
The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. Originally known as the Victorian Football League (VFL), it was founded in 1896 as a breakaway competition from the Victorian Football Association (VFA), with its inaugural season commencing the following year.
