The Future Is Now
''The Future Is Now'' is the only studio album by the American hip hop group Non Phixion. It was released on March 26, 2002, via Uncle Howie/Landspeed Records. Recording sessions took place at Fast Forward Studios, D&D Studios, No Mystery Studios, Battery Studios, Area 51, Chung King House Of Metal in New York, and at the Music Grinder in Los Angeles. Production was handled by Necro, Large Professor, Dave 1, DJ Premier, JuJu, Pete Rock and T-Ray. It features guest appearances from Christian Olde Wolbers, MF Doom, Necro, Marley Metal, Moonshine, Raymond Herrera, Stephen Carpenter and The Beatnuts. The album's cover art was created by Mear One, and the logo is a tribute to Canadian metal band Voivod. Raymond Herrera
Raymond Herrera is an American musician and entrepreneur, best known as the former drummer and founding member of the heavy metal band Fear Factory. He is the former drummer for his previous band Brujeria and for industrial metal band Arkaea. He is a composer and producer of music for video games, television, feature films, and transmedia. Career His commercial album debut was Fear Factory's ''Soul of a New Machine'' in 1992. The band soon began a nearly two decade long recording and touring schedule including more than twelve commercial album releases and numerous world tours. He is known for his high speed playing, particularly his "stop go" double bass technique rather than the usual "flooring face" style. In 1996, Herrera started to secure music licensing of Fear Factory's music for dozens of video games. The Beatnuts are an American hip hop group and production duo from New York City. Its current members are JuJu and Psycho Les. JuJu (born Jerry Tineo on December 14, 1968) is a Dominican American from Corona and Psycho Les (born Lester Fernandez on April 10, 1970) is a Colombian American from Jackson Heights, Queens. John Fuentes (born February 7, 1972), also known as SaBac Red, is an American rapper from New York City and a member of Non Phixion and the "on hold" Secret Society. Biography Sabac was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, along with his twin sister. His family moved to Brooklyn, New York City, when he was four years old. Sabac was raised by his mom and grandmother who are Sicilian Italian. He grew up in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn neighboring Bensonhurst and Coney Island.
